Learn guitar online programs – a conclusion

===============================================

To conclude, keep in mind that all these programs are superb quality, the best in their class and have been proven winners.

The main difference with them is that Jamorama is a one time payment for a suite of lessons and services and JamPlay and Guitar Tricks are subscription based.

Now you may feel that the one time payment option must be the way to go but is it? Generally with the subscription services the media is web based which means that you can’t always download it – this might seem like another vote for the one time payment option.

My own opinion is that the subscription services are better, the quality of the videos are better, the immediacy is there, stuff gets added to the sites dynamically and continually.

The overall support is very professional from people who are genuinely passionate about playing the guitar and teaching how to play the guitar.

That doesn’t mean to say that there isn’t a place for the one time payment course and we feel that Jamorama offers the best of it’s kind and if you’re just starting out learning to play the guitar for $50 this is top quality.

The Battle of The Membership Sites

So that just leaves the difference between Guitar Tricks and JamPlay. Well Guitar Tricks is the oldest having been around since 1998, before MP3 players and has all the features you would expect from such a mature program but JamPlay just pips it for me. There is not much in it, for me JamPlay is a bit more active in publishing lessons and I have got accustomed to some of their excellent teachers. But out of the two, Guitar Tricks is fantastic value for money at a ridiculous $14.95 per month.

If you are new to learning how to play the guitar and are looking at online guitar lessons, whether it’s how to play rock guitar or classical acoustic, these 3 options are excellent. To learn guitar online it basically comes down to the one time fee service or subscription. Whatever you choose initially if your motivation and dedication lasts you’ll most certainly want to end up with one of the professional, experienced, subscription sites.
